Reminder: The US government pays people to shill on reddit. Don't let Steemit turn out the same.

They are everywhere on Reddit, it becomes unbearable.

So do other governments and corporations. Be weary of what you consume as information. Don't forget about shareblue and cambridge analytica for the Team Red vs. Team Blue charade.

Also Russia are very guilty of shilling as well.

There are some that have accounts about a year or two old that are solely dedicated to defending Russia and Putin. I used to hang out in Reddit politics new and rising a lot during the elections, and there were everywhere there, especially with constantly posting all of those websites hosted in Macedonia.

Or just mention how Russia militarily invaded Ukraine, and see all of them show up to say Russia never invaded Ukraine.

I used to also hang out in the NPR comment section when that was a thing, I would see random new commenters submitting links with Russian geotags attached to it. Whenever I would call them out, they would delete their accounts.

They are also everywhere in the Fox news comment section. They usually have a picture of a military air craft vehicle in their picture thingy, or their usernames will have the word liberal in their username such as "liberalsarealltraitors", "liberalsareviolentanimals", "liberalsloveisis", etc, and the only thing they talk about is villianizing liberals practically 24/7.

Shills are not welcome on Steemit! KEEP THEM OUT!

If I don't include this on today's #informationwar roundup, could you link this on that post?

I'll put it up this evening

Yep sure thing

If it will, STEEM will be a kind of true news. The big ones must be a good example to the other to keep STEEM clean. Also all other member are a part of the group to keep it clean here.

Great share,

With love @DoWithLove

I agree, we need to not have shills here. Sadly, I don't know how to achieve that.

Neither do I really :(. Strong moderation?

That might be a good start.
