Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 28/10/2020.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 28/10/2020.

Halloween is nearly here guys and just because covid is around doesn't mean we can't enjoy Halloween with the family. It's the end of October and the weather is getting slowly colder "yuck" since about 4 days ago some the mildness we had on some days is beginning to just turn into purely cold days. When I left this morning to visit my friend "as later she was seeing other family" I regretted not wearing an extra layer but as I rushed to reach her place the sun started to appear and so began warming-up this cold morning. With this I was certain that the day would improve but I was wrong as about one hour later there was a downpour of rain. When I was leaving I was given more cake, that's right more cake, but this was actually one that I had brought for one of my friends birthday's and I admit I was curious to know if it tasted any good. I was off from work today and so when I got in I got on with some personal work I needed to get done but while I worked it suddenly got dark fast and with that came another real heavy downpour as the drops were hitting the windows hard enough to actually annoy me as I actually like the calming sound of the rain. But not this time they were too loud! I also want to mention @kiwi-crypto who recently reached Double Dolphin🐬 I mention this to prove that there are still people growing on Steemit and the kind of users we should be looking to support as he hold's onto most of he's Steem plus also invests. Yes there was a time when we had alot more Double Dolphins and so it's great to see some users are still out there chasing these goals. The other day one of my colleagues asked me about Steemit, and while I couldn't tell him that I'm making much money yet talking about the concept of Steemit sparked he's curiosity to which I have done now hundreds of times when talking to others I meet at events. I admit I do love 💕 talking about Steemit and so in turn he had more questions. The questions that people often ask make's me remember just how much of an amazing blockchain we have here, this is because I find that most people's concerns have already been taken care of by the system. For example my favourite question was him talking about having contracts to make sure investors get what they deserve, but I explained that Steemit is stake based and so when it come's to rewarding it's investors that's already been taken care of by the system itself. Anyway as for the Diary Game that continues on with Season 3, you can check it out if you fancy a chance at winning a possible upvote from one of the Steem Curator accounts at Steemit Diary Season 3.

Speaking of keeping things running the covid19 madness goes on as for us we still continue in a kind of "eased" lockdown, numbers continue to rise but most people continue flaunting basic rules. I won deny that I have enjoyed less people in the crowded areas and that some people were actually giving you space. I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating all non-essential work places must close. Well it was either go to work or be fired but the government claims normality will be back by Christmas. The education sector also re-opened and to no surprise the virus quickly started spreading, the return to education also brought back the much unneeded noise to our streets as kids don't do any social distancing and the crime rates funnily have also gone up, guess they are related.

Anyway the focus of Steem continues on with their new "1000 days of Steem" after the initial success of the "100 Days Of Steem Announcements". These have now became motivating for many Steemians as the SteemitTeam offer's winners with prizes in the form of a large upvotes. Well Justin did said he would continue working to make STEEM a success and so with the Diary Game 3 running.. what's next? Well firstly if you hurry this October still offers the "Crypto Challenge Month" there are basically 5 challenges to take part in right now, Challenge #5 is running (October 26th - November 1st) which goes into what are our reasons for loving Bitcoin, if that sounds interesting take a look here Crypto Challenge Month and at some of the other challenges if you fancy your chances. And yes many millions of STEEM remain held by the Steemit INC accounts, some argue that this makes it potentially more risky to invest into STEEM, which I guess depends if in the end Steemit INC decides to sell some of their stake or not. But a sell-out could also be a good thing, that is if enough people actually want that Steem Power, it would mean for a better distribution between users. Some of you maybe wondering about that 23M Steem? From what I understand it's still locked away in the exchange.

🌍Since the price rise back in February unfortunately not much as changed over the months, and while yes it did go down to $0.09 it still mostly stayed between $0.18 and $0.20. There was also that mystery spike rise on March 19th taking Steem to $0.40💛! Infact it seems Steem as not been this cheap "around $0.15" since sometime in November last year which interestingly is where we are heading now. Atleast people can't complain about the price being volatile as Steem as been mostly steady over the year. Still this opportunity is a great price to power up your account cheaply and if you are under 10000 SP you might want to consider getting some, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial game but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem and speed up your account's Steem accumulation, after-all a small bump in price with those holding's would bring some nice noticeable benefits for those with some skin in the game.

💛We are currently a "🐬DOUBLE DOLPHIN🐬" which means our collective POWER is now way over 💚10000 SP!! We will of course continue to collect and lock-up even more STEEM POWER! My goal 🌍 is now to reach 15.000 SP🏆, hopefully before the end of this year this should be now possible since getting a few more whale upvotes here and there. I want to thank everybody who votes and for the support lately as we are heading closer towards our goal. I have been on here for over 4 years and have never powered down once and continue to invest in small quantities, meaning your votes are safe with me and help retain Steem's value. We totalled 7.841 SP at the end of 2019 and reached 10.000 on May 11th and so if you want to help me on finishing this quest and locking away 15.000 Steem Power to retain more of it's value then please consider leaving your best vote below.

As for Bitcoins back on March 13th we saw a huge Bitcoins downwave to $4225, on July 26th it hit 💚$10000. Bitcoins as actually been going slowly upwards since March this year, despite the covid19 virus. As for the SBD's on Feb 13th it hit $1.00, and so we can't deny SBD's have been doing relatively well since getting past that Bitcoin drop, we even saw SBD's go up to $1.24 but lately it's remained more stable around the $1.00 mark where it should be.
