Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 22/12/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 7 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 22/12/2023.

December 2023 Last night I went to sleep a little before the usual late hour, this was because since I had finally caught up somewhat on rest I wanted to catch-up with a few things that I haven't been doing since going to sleep earlier the past few nights. Still I hoped to get to sleep earlier than what I did last night but was glad that with some luck the little time I had got the main goal done. I was so exhausted still from being up so early in the morning for work yesterday but luckily today I had the morning free, however the supposed extra rest I was going to get instead got ruined somewhere in the early hours of the morning as I woke up way before my alarm. My guess is because I have been waking up earlier the past few days and so unfortunately my body decided to wake up somewhere near around that time I have been getting up for the early shifts. I struggled to fall back to sleep and so I think I spent most of the morning just resting, which I guess still helps a little. Not sure if it was generally warmer yesterday but I was surprised by how little the cost of the electric was yesterday, it was displaying less than half of the usual cost, I'm beginning to think there was some kind of miscount as today it displays roughly the same. At least when I did get out of bed it wasn't as pitch black but when I did initially awake automatically that was a different story, still the weather made it a gloomy morning and slowly that annoying wind started to pick-up again which I hope wont bring even more terrible weather. Before leaving I was happy and surprised I still had time for a little clear out this morning giving me a little more room to get organised as I got rid of some old stuff. When I left the house and made my way too work that wind was still going strong but by the looks of things this definitely didn't stop people going out in droves doing their Christmas shopping. And while I love celebrating Christmas I can't help but wonder isn't all this a little too much.. I mean the amount of people that really over do it but also leave it so late. You still had many of your regular shoppers out there which also makes me wonder why do they insist in coming out among all this madness lol. When I arrived in work everybody was running around busy, it was clearly to no surprise going to be a busy day. What's great however is that I'm lucky enough to be doing the afternoon when there is no extra work to do later. This was good but I think very much needed as since I was so busy there wouldn't of been much time for getting anything else done. My colleague said he was tired and not having fun before he left, looking over he's work quickly he done such a great job, I mention this because he is still relatively new. Since there were a few quiet moments I still decided to do some work on the weekly tasks but I think I would of maybe been excused today for not bothering. Towards the end of shift it seems some of my colleagues were going on a night out which I thought was crazy considering the hard day we just had, I wasn't asked if I wanted to go but wouldn't be going anyway, firstly I was already tired and secondly this group just seems rather boring compared to previous years. We had some odd guy yesterday in the building that nobody knew who the hell he was and why he was here with us. Turns out he is someone from IT in head office, why on earth they send these people to us on the rare occasion who knows as they are absolutely useless. You would think people in charge who make all our decisions for us would have some clue on how the business works, I think it's often a surprise to most people that these guys at the top often have no clue either lol. My guess is these guys get forced to mingle in with the lowers on the rare occasion so they can at least have some small idea of what the little people do for them. Not only do they rarely show up but after you never see them again or hear from them, guess what he as not been seen since yesterday and I highly doubt we will ever see him again. Don't get me wrong the guy seemed very friendly and nice but likely because he obviously doesn't know anybody and as no clue what's going on. On the way home the weather had not improved especially that horrible wind but this time it didn't bring in any rain with it. The heating continues having to be used at home and it's insane seeing the cost of energy instantly triple, the government really does want it's people to suffer the cold. The "Replies" page on Steemit.com occasionally still as issues but I think everything else is fixed, except the issue of not receiving the Tron rewards. In a previous year it was fixed just in time for Christmas but I also heard a few say it's been discontinued for good. This is a rumour always present when TRX is not received and so far I haven't seen a confirmation that TRX as been completely abolished from being received. We did get news from the Steemit team that Tron as been "paused" due to bad market conditions which doesn't make much sense with the market recovering?? The team says that with TRX paused this will give them the opportunity to see how they can better their services, seems a bit counter intuitive but perhaps this will untie a few hands so they can make a decision on their next step. As for Steem since around April 2022 we had a big fall that took it down to £0.14 but with such a large fall this helped us on collecting more Steem. It was this drop in price that was "one" of the key factors that helped us on reaching our main goal for 2023. Our goal was to finally reach Orca which means holding 50k Steem Power, would you believe this as been a 6 year project that was realised earlier this year on July 21th. If your looking for Steem to be a success or just looking to earn more you should vote mostly on those who do not power down. Powering down lowers the value of Steem, meaning it lowers the value of your investment and even the Steem that your earning from posting. This account is a example as one of the very few on here who is not powering-down it's rewards.
