Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 1/12/2018 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 1/12/2018

Should you be trading with Steem today..

Firstly its December everybody! Wow last month for your Steemit.com 2018 goals! So we ended this month with $0.34 and started at $0.39 👍 lets see if this yo-yoing will continue for the next few days as it seems for now we have reached another bottom. It's also good to see some powering-up of Steem still going on considering the past few days. See because of Bitcoin dropping alot lately it as been forcing Steem's own value to tank downwards and thereby it also caused catastrophical affects for Steem INC. Ned dropped a bomb 3 days ago with some news. With this revelation I now welcome you into a new survival mode era of Steemit. Steem INC have been forced to lay-off around %70 staff members, soon after this there was a special live get-together for discussing what could happen going forward, there was talk of SMT's delayed, possible closure of the "Steemit.com" website, the new project destiny.. along with many other things discussed 👍 and suggested. Anyway the Steem price as been going up because so as Bitcoin, we actually started the 1st of December with Bitcoin going under $4000 again, but due to its recovery there is a chance we could see Bitcoin up-trending soon. Steem spent today just going upwards it also had a upbump which took it from $0.35 straight to $0.39 this happend at ⏰15.55 / SBD finished this November at $0.81 so while its a smaller difference than expected we see SBD now at $0.82 as its average for starting us off this December, SBD was alot smoother today and we did see it reach to $0.84, which it could of done better.
