The issue of reputation is relevant to a post I just made on my blog. I think much of the content on some of the topics on Steemit is questionable at best and, in the case of the Health topic for example, potentially flawed and dangerous. Yet, many of these questionable posts are rewarded with upvotes and rewards. If Steemit truly wished to reward quality content, the content would be monitored so that questionable content would not be rewarded. Instead, users who merely have spent a lot of time building followings and making connections are rewarded. No offense intended to you, reseller. You have done an amazing job on Steemit. But what do other steemers think? Is Steemit just a popularity contest?
