Question: Why Are You On Steemit?

I recently joined Steemit (if not obvious) and wanted to know the reasons why you (everyone) chose to join Steemit.

Was it the Cryptocurrency aspect?

Are you in a non-US country and this is a possible alternate means of income (Steem is closely tied to the USD)?

Do you think Steemit is the next Facebook and you want to "get in" early?

Do you think it's just a cool idea?

Do you want to move into a forum with the possibility of higher levels of compensation for content creation?

    Believe in the steem block chain. As well as it's time to get rid of the Giants Facebook reddit and Twitter.it's time we get paid. It's also time that we can speak our minds without any one censoring!
