RE: 10 Reasons The Dutch-Russia Hacking Story Is Fake News

in #steemit6 years ago

The entire “Russia” narrative has the feel of a Monty Python sketch, a skit that grew out of control before being weaponized by the interested parties. It probably started on the night of November 8th as a little fib, the political equivalent of “the dog ate my homework”, the dog of course, being Russian.

As the now monolithic narrative is clearly built on foundations of sand, it feels that those interested parties are scrambling to create evidence to help support its growing weight.

I have a feeling, Edward Bernays would be rather proud of the outcome, but for me, well, it almost makes me yearn for the days-of-old when one could start a war by simply sinking the odd ship and pointing an accusing finger at the enemy-of-the-day.

Thanks for the work that went into creating this article Suzi, it is greatly appreciated.
