3. Daily accounts transacting

A 'transacting account' is a Steem account that made at least one transaction on the Steem blockchain. This can be a vote, post, comment, transfer, power up or sbd conversion. Users who only read from the Steem blockchain without interacting are not included. The actual number of 'Active users' is therefore much higher than the accounts transacting.

What I really noticed today: new account sign-ups continue to drop off in number... it can't be because we have reached market saturation...

  ·  3 months ago (edited)

its simply because @ned doenst wanna pay for new accounts or he doenst know how to use https://steeminvite.com by @pharesim where he can plug in the active keys of @steem and @steemit accounts using 40+ million SP and claim MILLIONS of free accounts a year ....

the "community" is stuck doing the software developers infrastructure tasks.. imagien fi facebook had told its users to build theri own advertising system and buoild theri own front ends AND fix the facebook onboarding... steemit inc is spoiledby the easy free BTC it got in summer 2016 ned has so much money nwo from BTC maybe hes waitingf ro steem to be cheap and he can pump teh markets up, and give large bags of steem in long term non powerdownable trsutfund type accounts to major institutions and museums and curators and organizations etc... like Smithsonian, PBS, and a non profit arm of the national geographic can have steem accounts with delegated SP and they can curating a wide range of amaizng content with their own Smithsonian and Nat geo or PBS front ends.....

the World Wildlife Fund or the NAACP for instance can have steem accounts with SP delegated or bought or places in a long term steem engien smartt contarct where they cant power itd own for 5 years or something like that... so we can see people forced to curate t use their account. for example .. and ned can simply rvoke his dleegation fi anyoen abuses it... if he chooses to introduce these large non profits and NGOs to steem with large delegation, liek Doctors withouit Borders, they can go upvote theri own members who can beout in various part sof teh world on mmissions that normally donty get much publicity, now they can post on steem, promote theirmselves,m pay their volunteersd with steem upvotes and ned can have an army of people directly benefiting humanitya nd PROMOTING teh steem blockchaina nd it can do so withoiut iunterfering with anything currently on steem it wil ONLY bring mroe atention to us...

this is all great information and while some of it is disappointing it isn't all doom and gloom. Of course we would like to see more new accounts but I am happy to see that the amount of deposit / withdrawals isn't as horrible as I had imagined.
