The New Steemit Logo: what to do with business cards, merch and tattoos??
Wow, now this has been a huge surprise for the community: the new Steemit logo is here!!
I’m sure that there will be a lot of different views, opinions and reactions to it in the next couple of days.
My question though: what are those people who invested in creating clothing lines (ping @qinneaker and @gardenofeden), printing business cards, flyers, posters, merch, and even went as far as making a tattoo with the old Steemit logo going to do now?

Yes, good point. I was careful to only refer to Steemit in my post about the new logo. And you are absolutely correct: the “old” logo remain the graphic symbol of Steem blockchain and STEEM currency. Thank you for your comment!

1st edition steemit logo, could add the new logo next to the old one on merch, poster, flyers, cards, and even right next to the old logo tattoo.

So very true!! What about the merch?
I bet there is an UPROAR at Steemfest from all the entrepreneurs that invested $500 or $1000 into merch to sell there at the event.
Who knows....maybe in 5 days it will be taken down if the uproar is loud and strong enough.
But tatoos??? what can you do!?

For one thing they should have focused on promoting Steem, not Steemit. But logos can and do change.
Still, don't I have some sympathy for those that were caught on the blindside by this change? Yes. It was very sudden considering how invested some people are in merch etc and I hope they will be able to cope with it.
Otherwise, I suppose, make a post about the change or try to get donations to fund a reboot.

they can say they are the first original ones and adapt to the new ones..have more than one...
