World Crypto Network: Most clueless people regarding Steemit?
It is really astonishing that these guys do not know anything regarding Steemit...
Seems like the current users of this system are bleeding edge... What will happen if we reach a million users? They will have to change their rhetoric to not loose all their credibility... how high will Steem go when these guys also understand how the system works and that it is not scam...
Really surprising how one can do statements like saying that they have read the whitepaper and that it was "total bullshit"...

Yeah some of these guys are hacks for sure. They all seem to be bitcoin purists. I just don't understand bitcoin purists. These guys hate on all things not bitcoin. I guess I understand confirmation bias and other biases that I am invested in, but just bitcoin and nothing else, just don't get it. They make no good technical arguments of why something non bitcoin is bad or will fail. All opinions.
It's an economic argument/fear that the pie is fixed and that value can't be "grown". Anything that isn't bitcoin is stealing potential value inputs to the demand and price of bitcoin.
I don't think they consider the multiplicative effect that things like Steem and Ethereum do for expanding the net.
I agree. Also I would add not just expanding the net, but expanding bitcoin and bitcoin adoption. As of real recently it seems as if Steemit has done more for crypto interest/adoption than anything else yet. Kind of sneaky, sort of carrot on a stick. Like "hey kid, you want some $$??.... Well you will have to learn how to change this crypto asset that you earned from your post into dollars on an exchange". I love it!

The beauty of this platform is that it will prove itself. It's not some nebulous viewpoint about whether string theory is real or not... this rocket is going to take off and when it does, people will see it in orbit.

I stop watching this guy when he stopped wearing the crazy hats. when he was just delivering the news it was cool and funny. The minute they started doing "analysis" I stopped watching because it was obvious they didn't know what the hell they where talking about.

These guys are not even wrong. Bitcoin is not immutable it can be hard forked by the will of miners. ETC is not immutable in fact it could be easily forked again with little hashing security. When they claim the Govt. could just pressure Vitalik to fork is also absurd. Why? The code was implemented by miners and by nodes. I am glad Tone corrected them. I hold way more Bitcoin than Ether and Bitcoin never had an event like the darkdao. In its infancy no hacker stole 3-14% of its currency and if that happened many people would have favored a fork.
I agree with what you said. I would just add that no ETH was ever stolen from any address on the Ethereum blockchain that wasn't actively participating in the DAO. So wheter that $$/BTC/ETH was being held by a software robot(DAO) or a human running an exchange Mark Karpeles(MT GOX) its always going to be a risk if you try these new things sub blockchain. Yeah the smart contract known as the DAO was exploited or hacked, but the Ethereum blockchain has not been hacked as of yet.
