Poloniex is delisting STEEM and few other coins - Withdrawal ASAP

in #steemit5 years ago

If you still trade that place better take coins away in less than 20 days withdrawals will be stopped.

Poloniex is beginning the process of delisting Pascal (PASC), Steem (STEEM), Navcoin (NAV), GameCredits (GAME), LBRY Credits (LBC), and Clams (CLAM). Here are some important dates to keep in mind:

  • October 15th at 16:00 UTC: trading of PASC, STEEM, NAV, GAME, LBC and CLAM will be disabled

  • October 28th at 16:00 UTC: LBC withdrawals will be permanently disabled

So do not make a mistake as you have not many days to withdrawal or the coins will be gone forever.

I know loads of people here have STEEM on Poloniex so better move them out.

aww that sucks. Wonder what that will do for the price of Steem.

price kind of tanked, no most of delisted coins

Did they give a reason for de-listing Steem?

Not directly as it relates to steem. It looks like it may be due to the low trading volume though.

A lot of people maybe storing steem there. Guess that lack of transaction fees must of been the reason. Now have to find a place to move them to.

I just store mine in my steem wallet

Yea it makes much more sense to store steem in your wallet than on an exchange. My guess is they (Poloniex) are going through and cleaning house on any coins that they are not profitable on. Making the business lean and mean. Unfortunately (for them) steem may experience a rebirth at some point here and Poloniex will be missing out. Oh well.

Yeah new steem is like a new born baby now..
I've been thinking of it lately #newsteem can I call it steemit reborn.. ^^

They could relist then. Assuming they have limited resources makes better sense to promote what is most profitable.

Sure, though it probably won't be likely unless steem explodes in popularity from here.

There is a bit of steem sitting on poloniex, though I am not sure why. Exchanges get hacked just about every week or two.

Downvoted only because it is a duplicate post on the topic.

Some (or many?) people will probably lose a lot of money. Some people will maybe not even notice the delisting (in time).

Why STEEM? I don't understand.. STEEM is working!!!

What other exchanges can you trade or buy Steem?
