What happens when Porn meets Steemit?

Here we are again, yet another day to hit that post button and attempt to contribute lol! Steady grind, steady growth is what they say (they the voices). Truthfully my steem dream has become super leisurely as of late and that's fine. Passive income friends, the clue is in the name. Sure all ways do your best, however make sure your best is prioritized right for you. It doesn't get much sweeter than choosing a happy, healthy and stress free life.

This brings me to today's conversation about overcoming sexual stigmas. No not smegma, we'll leave sex ed for another day; though I did wanna do a series on STDs. I think some real talk coming from a 'dirty porn guy' could be great! Anyway I knew writing about porn and it's effects on sex and sexuality would be challenging. I still hope somehow our shared interest in bumping body parts moves us toward learning more about each other and humanity..
Did you know we could advance spiritual enlightenment through taoist/tantric sacred union? Yes sexual awakening, rebalance and collectively cultivate multi-orgasmic energy to transmute the universe and free humanity for the next 26,000 years LOL! (Too hippy? Too soon?)
Ok it's a tough gig when society doesn't even talk sincerely about sex. Sure it's easier in person and one-to-one, however scaling online has been an uphill effort. Who knew sharing the spiritual subspace within sexuality would fall flat in porn soup. Even the sex spam out performs me for reach and reward with their plagiarized porn gifs. Lol it's all gravy though, can't hate on them porn-o-bots and pic pirates, my simple human brain must rest. Porn spammers arrived (maybe I'm one?) as expected and now we have what many early adopters expressed concerns about..

Perhaps people are just shy talking about porn here? I mean we hear all about libertarian values, just don't go getting too crazy and free 'cuz you know, SEX! Even behind our steemy pseudonyms as minnows, dolphins and whales. Who really puts their reputation on-chain by upvoting any nsfw porn posts? Lol hey I'm playing; don't take me seriously I didn't mean to talk you out of supporting me. Great now I've totally lost the point, where was I going with this?
Oh yes I see the utopian vision of Steemit too! Anarchists, outlaws, hookers and strippers all equally welcome in our crypto wild west. No? Oh ok.. more artistic like burning man?
Sure I still have lofty plans of staking my claim here and inspiring others to join too. I mean I'm lucky enough to know a few classy ladies who have huge followings, and equally impressive "personalities". Though until I pimp out my posts for more money I'm not being a very convincing honey. Haven't given up yet though, if a bunch of sexy people is what we want here then I'll continue plugging away.. as one does.

Thankfully the steem returns so far have helped me re-evaluate my time/effort trade off from writing on Steemit, especially the nsfw posts. I love being free to share porn here and have the option to exclude myself from the innocent eyes. Though they (voices mentioned earlier) don't really see any advantage in doing so and only a select few in my audience (publicly) appreciated the work. So I'll stay optimistic about inspiring stimulating sex and continue finding balance to share stories with or without the awesomely explicit images. Perhaps in future I'll only include a few nsfw links and no images?
Just know this, it's a long dong leap of faith to continually pump energy anywhere it doesn't feel good or reciprocated. Gotta have a lil push back or at least say your name! Truth be told, honestly expressing yourself.. to yourself is only fun for a while. So pace your pump and save your seeds.. of wisdom! definitely be interested in your "series on STDs". that's probably the aspect that I find most terrifying about, well, you know...! :)
@alexpmorris Thanks man, I reeally appreciate you for the comment. I will dig deeper and think about some of my experiences on the sexual health stuff coming up then. I find it funny that I already feel I dunno, "exposed" talking openly about sex, behind the scenes of porn and my general life experiences. Guess it's all so taboo.. cheers for the feedback and guidance brother!
I think it's great that you share this type of stuff. I'm sure more people than you realize find it rather fascinating, and appreciate it more than you know, although they may not always speak up about it (or necessarily know quite what to say or add)! lol
Truth be told, with the exception of the "terrifying" aspect I mentioned, generally, I kind of believe if people spent more time "loving and appreciating" one another (ie. compersion), instead of trying to control and manipulate each other and everyone else, the world would probably be a much happier and safer place. But perhaps that's just loony ranting on my part! :)
@alexpmorris Mate thank you, I appreciate your optimism. I guess you may be right, or it feels nicer to think this way. I absolutely agree with you and it's nice to hear someone use the term compersion outside of our usual circles.
Although I was poking fun at my former self a little above, I do believe that sexual liberation has nothing but positive effects for individuals and society in general. I don't feel you're loony at all, actually probably much more aware than many people I talk to. It takes courage to explore this in self and with our relationships, however in my opinion the path only leads to a more fulfilling and honest sex life.

I think compersion is a very under-appreciated word, perhaps because it's often too "narrowly" defined. I prefer the broader definition: “I'm happy whenever my lover is happy", and not "jealous" when good things come there way, whatever that may be. I think that's also what I've been finding so great about STEEMIT... the whole "gift economy" aspect of it.

Ah great! I'll go and read it now and engage you over there bro. Thanks for lifting my spirits by the way. I fully agree with your definition and for me personally the path to compersion was the simple honoring of "unconditional love".
Loving my partners fully to me meant gifting all with my unconditional love, honesty and freedom. No limitations to feeling sincere joy and we could never feel truly free without supporting the same for each other.
To me there's no sense in saying I love you; but only you and you can only be loved by me. What kind of a life is that?
my sentiments exactly. People often get caught up in hearing "the words", while completely ignoring the actions. True love sets each other free to grow beyond the "sum of their parts", while control and jealousy lead to the exact opposite. And yes, I agree that's the true meaning of "unconditional love", which most people often tend to mask with many subtle "conditions"! :)
