"This new bout of flagging wars is with minnowbooster and Bernie Sanders ! I believe one of his bots was somehow shut down ( randowhale ?) which is no longer taking bids . Accused of stealing money from the rewards pool , which is always the reason for these flag wars since steemit began !!
So now he is accusing minnowbooster of stealing 200.00 or more per day from the rewards pool by making posts daily and being rewarded for those posts in SP and SD ! And he told Minnow Booster that if they don't stop he will start flagging anyone that uses the minnow booster service ! So if you don't want to be flagged by Bernie Sanders , DON'T USE MINNOW BOOSTER . AT LEAST FOR NOW ! STEEM ON MY FRIEND ..!"

๐ฉ So what I want to know is what do you guys think of all these different Upvote / Booster Bots !?!? Do you use them to boost your posts !? ( as we all know , for most of us our posts make nothing unless we do use them ! ) Which I Do ! And is there anything being done to change this situation so the whales and Dolphins start up voting our posts again with more frequency ! Also this 10 up vote max per day is not working as most go over this which depletes your voting power , thus everyone's up votes are worth nothing , so no one makes any money (or very little ) on their posts or gets no further ahead in reputation , causing everyone to use these Bots to begin with to try and get their posts hopefully trending !! Thank you for this @karenmckersie I found your post by following a post made by @raised2b addressing possible solutions. I am new here (40 days) and spend quite a lot of time researching the potential and practices of Steemit. My intention is to invite members of various teams and workgroups which will bring their insights, resources and sharing natures to this platform.
You speak to the concerns I have. Being new and trying to find those that are bringing value with pertinent information and content is sometimes a struggle. The "bots" overwhelm me. What I mean by that, is I find someone with a good reputation score and spend time reading their blog only to find posts of pictures or a video with absolutely no commentary. I scroll to the "replies" and "comments" only to find a page full of "bots" (which I may add are sometimes HUGE pictures that makes the page even longer to scan).
I can understand their approach in doing this, however, if we are to have a value based community that will enhance the users' experience our posts should in a general sense provide some "meat".
As for me and many of us here and those that may one day take a look at what Steemit can offer, it is the "first impressions" which mean so much. One aspect that brought me to this platform was the "Pay for Performance" approach. My hope in reviewing the problem was that it would sort of weed itself out over time. Someone not contributing would eventually receive little to no monetary value and move on to some other platform.
In looking at the process many are using, I notice a great many "upvote me I upvote you" and "follow me I follow you" crap. That coupled with the amount of bots running around and posts of pics/videos with no commentary certainly slows the wheels of progress for me (and most likely others as well).
Adding to that now, this problem of "flagging" by some narcissistic grudge holding person that would rather upset the cart of innocent people to get back at someone or a few people who may have created , as I see it, what seems to be a support group for minnows (new unsuspecting victims) may be an ongoing problem.
I do feel a bit uplifted now that I see @raised2b and yourself addressing the issue. I do hope something can be developed to make this journey a bit easier. I think it is a good plan and worthy of someone moving this idea of @raised2b 's to the next level.

I really liked his post a lot , and his solutions , it bothers me these types of posts don't get as much up votes another reason why many use bots in order to get their posts noticed , I up voted and resteemed his both my accounts although my @momskitchen blog is for food and drinks ! ! Im looking forward to the day that we see a substantial improvement on Steemit and all the bots are gone ! Its still a new platform and there's alot of improvements in the works , so hopefully the next hard fork will address some of these issues along with a lot of other stuff LOL! Fingers Crossed !!๐โ๐๐
There is such a great potential here with the Steemit platform. I have that feeling that all the bugs and bots will get worked out. I spent some time at the Discord chat, just getting a feel for who is doing what and am very impressed.
I do have a question as you mention you have 2 memberships. This is what I need desperately. I already have an active group building on a social network: Fully Informed Public and NEED to have a Steemit account in that name. As I start inviting folks over to this platform it would help me a great deal.
How does one go about getting a second Steemit account? I didn't know if it was frowned upon or not but I can see it being a benefit not only for me but the growing of this platform as well. Can you shed some light?
OK . Heres some information I copied for you from the hamburger menue ! If you click on those three dots in the upper right corner of your screen , you will find tons of awesome stuff and apps in the steemit app center. Anyways this was in the FAQ section ! And so you know , you are only allowed one account on steemit.com but you can have multiple accounts on the block chain , it will cost you though . This is the site I used , it was a little tricky at first , but there's no waiting , I had my account almost right away , and it cost me 10.00 steem dollars , its because you need money to transact on steemit so you cant start with nothing ! Im not sure exactly what they keep from that I cant remember !

Sorry LOL but its complicated ! They are basically flagging each other back and forth etc. You will see the it going on in the link I provided in my post at "minnowbooster" by Bernie Sanders ! But this feud goes back a while now and its to much for me to explain ! Im just too busy , but you can figure it out by reading that comments over there . Don't worry though , just don't use the minnow booster bot to up vote your post .๐๐๐๐

Goodness, I wish I saw this post earlier, I just used #minnowbooster about 1/2 hour ago, and I still didn't see any upvote from them.
I didn't know this was going on...I am also new to the site and learning as I go, and from my observation, many users using bots to get a higher amount, otherwise, the posts looked extremely sad..I have just started to use #minnowbooster this month since I am exhausting all other options..Thanks for the warning!
Your welcome ! I also use minnowbooster ! Check your wallet again as quite often they send back your money if you don't send the right amount . Its very annoying ! Hopefully you don't get flagged ! Right now I only use @bellyrub you need send at least 1.00SD and I also don't mind nettybot its not a lot but it only costs 0.10 SD ! Good luck .
No, they haven't sent the money back..and still no vote! I consider it lost since I don't know what to do or how to get it back.
All you can do I guess is leave them a message in their post , (which they post every day ) letting them know you were never up voted , with a link to the post that you wanted upped . Hopefully they will fix it . Good luck !๐
