SteemTool Idea - Recommender System

Hi,

With the great influx of new posts every day it is becoming increasingly dificult to browse through all the posts looking for something that might be of interest. Of course you can browse different tags but not all posts are properly tagged. Or you can head over to SteemStats and just look at what the people on your followlist are doing. This of course narrows your view of the steemit landscape intensely (but I guess is what quite a few users are doing).

Now before one of the recent updates there was a tab called 'recommended' on your userpage. For some reason it disappeared. I think this functionality has a significant usecase.

Now I am posting this here so that perhaps a good webdeveloper and/or someone that has good knowledge of recommender systems can code up an external implementation of this (steemrecommender.com ?). (perhaps someone already has and I am unaware of it, if so, please enlighten me).
