RE: Fuck the Zombie Steemit Cheerleading.
Interesting. Yes, I am noticing something similar. Are you able to post on that account with 15 SP?

I just did https://busy.org/@apofis/this-is-a-test-of-rc-usage
The RC balance went down to 95.7%
i just posted 5 times with a 3SP account
:)
W00T! Very nice. Is 3SP the new floor for new accounts?
Just for those created on anon steem, right? There is no delegation for others that are created traditionally. Even if there were, the platform is no longer free to join.
EDIT: They have now changed the sign-up page again. Yesterday it told users they had to pay regardless via crypto. Weird. Account creation is free for newbies again, but may or may not come with delegation. Not sure.
account made on anonsteem so yeah... 5 posts 1 upvote 80% RC left(5 min)... SO i would have to literally spam to run out...
Killer. So new accounts do receive a 3 SP delegation? Even if they are not created via anon Steem? Still, it is no longer free for newbies, hey?
It seems to be the case muh fren...
Not via anon Steem, I mean. New users must pay to create accounts now via the Steemit interface. Then do those users receive the 3 SP?
you can still create free accounts through steemit if that is the question. it would work in a similar manner than it has.
The idea now however is that dapps can create discounted accounts using their RC's instead of burning STEEM, which is the way the blockchain works currently.
So if you pay 9 steem to anonsteem (me regular user, not a dapp) the tokens get burnt...
The “free” accounts have no SP and thus cannot interact. This goes against the whole model put forth by Steemit since the start. They should have at least been honest and forthright enough to inform everyone they were adding this premium to the “free” platform. They don’t seem to care, though. And why would they? Maybe it will work well, but the PR breach of trust is pretty bad, and I sure as hell won’t be onboarding friends anymore.
I am not referencing anon steem, but the traditional sign up route. Is there still a delegation? The official Steemit blog post about the HF said no, if I recall correctly. I really see some trouble for onboarding if folks have to 1. pay or 2. not be able to interact/post. Plus, many don't even know how to use crypto. I guess I just thought the vision was mainstreaming this stuff, not making it more niche.
