Thank you for bringing this up, I think its a wonderful idea. I've been struggling on here with getting votes on posts that I put a lot of time and effort into, only to be quickly pushed down the list. This may just be what us smaller fish need to gain momentum into the big(ger) leagues.
What about making this happen automatically if you hit at least some minimum upvote threshold? E.g. 5 upvotes = free bump to top of new after 8 hours? That's way zero value posts cant be reposted but hidden gems get a chance to be seen by a different audience.
That is a great idea. if you want content to get the audience it need, there must be a way for more people to see it. It can not simply vanish after an Hour.
I agree, this could really help. People write fantastic Content and only a few people see it depending on the time of day posted. Here is a chance to show it a few more times to get a bigger audience.
