The more I time I spend here on Steemit, I have realized more and more about the nature of creativity!
The Steemians who seem to be the most successful are typically hugely creative and add a lot of value to the platform. I think that the most common hang up the people who have not yet joined would use as an excuse to keep them from even starting is that they don't even know what they would write about. Art is just one of those things. The more you engage in its creation the easier it is to let it flow out of you and at an increasing quality.
Not everyone is born a writer (I certainly was not,) but if you are even minimally literate and use just a little bit of the natural creativity that we are all endowed with, than all is required is to take action to advance upon a successful path. As cliche as this sounds, "starting is the hardest part" cannot be more true!
Successes only come as a result of DOING something. Inaction will always beget failure. Correction. Inaction is WORSE than failure. Failure at least means that you tried and did not succeed. Inaction means that one did not even give themselves the chance to try first. We shan't let Fear reign supreme over us and keep us from realizing the greatness that lies within us.
You will soon see that the more successes will come, the more motivated you will become to TAKE ACTION. Its simply a law of averages. We just have to shed the fear that we might have of failure. As I've said in earlier articles, fear can have a useful application, but we have to get our emotions under control.
Consistency is key and it will provide for you more experience and with experience comes for creative content. I like referring to this concept as the "Upward Spiral" effect! After a couple successes under your belt, what you once feared you will now own!
Take charge and make the most of your most abundant (yet most limited) resource... YOUR LIFE!
