Miracles still occur today (featuring new author @bubblefantasy)

Mother survives accident and miracle baby is born.

My daughter was expecting her first baby in July 2016. She and her husband had given up hope of ever becoming parents after trying for five years without success. It was a joyous occasion when they discovered they were pregnant in December 2015.

The joy didn’t last long . . . . . . at 30 weeks pregnant, She was hit by a car while crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing on her way to buy a pram for her baby.

The cars impact threw her into the air she landed on the windscreen and was flung 40m further from where the accident took place.

She had a huge gaping hole in her head from which the blood was streaming and her right ankle was crushed. All the spectators thought that there was no way she had survived the accident.

The blood was literally streaming from her head and her ankle was flopping around. Luckily her Father in Law knew First Aid, and when he saw her foot, he immediately stretched it out and started binding it into place (this saved her leg). The ambulance arrived and transported her to hospital.

On arrival at the emergency room the doctors had two major concerns, is the baby still alive and the streaming blood from her head. They worked on stabilizing her and stopping the blood, after which they did a scan discovering with great relief that the baby was strong and well. The first miracle.

The second miracle took pace as Theresa had to undergo two mayor operations. The fear of Angelica aborting or being born prematurely was a huge concern to the doctors but this little miracle went full term and was born on the 13th July 2016. She survived the impact of the car, the trauma, two operations and the excruciating pain that her Mother went through.

Theresa is on the long two-year path of recovery. Many prayers have been said for both her and Angelica which I strongly believe pulled them through this mayor trial in their lives.
