I haven't commented in a while or posted in a long while so this is all news to me but gathering from what I've read could it be that the 'improvements' that are causing the problems experienced are having the intended effect of discouraging the "follow and upvote me please?" people who see the short term goal of profit as their main motive for participating. All part of the growth process of steemit? Just a thought.
That would at least be acceptable... I worry that Steemit is heading down the tubes- and that I don't want to see.
I'm in the same boat, life has completely overwhelmed my goofing-off and nose-picking time. I only encountered the DDoS aftereffects.
If STEEM doesn't insanely inflate, though, what is the real detriment, since we are constantly generating more by our participation, @richq11 ? It doesn't have the same volatility as BTC, but that means also an incentive for composing and creating content, rather than simply trying to play the market.
