There is so much unique and great content on Steemit but it's just hard to find them thanks to upvote bots. I've been curating travel content for travelfeed since February and there is great stuff out there, which would not being noticed if the author would only use the travel tag. They need to weight original content might more!
Yes, I think that Steemit as a platform (as in not only Steemit as a community) should reward unique content creators.
