Hello steemians welcome to my blog. Today i will be trying to relate steemit to a public tap. I know some people will be wondering why. Well it is my little way of explaining steemit to a lot of people that have not really gotten the gist.

Public Tap

This is a source of water that has been created by either the government or a private body not for the purpose of making money but for the use of people living around the infrastructure itself.

It has its ups and downs.

I dont know in other countries but in my country, it is not every time that will will get water from a public tap. So yhu have to come another day or prolly there are things yhu can do to help the situation yourself

Relating Steemit To A Public Tap

I might not be 100% accurate in my illustration but i am sure that it will serve its purpose and the purpose is to make newbies understand that there is more to steemit than just coming with the motive of draining it.

First we need to ask ourselves what happens when we get to a public tap and we dont get water out of it. I am sure we will feel bad about it same way we feel bad if we post on steemit and we dont get upvotes.

Who are we going to blame for that? Nobody. The tap was made to help people and the maker like in the case of steemit should not be held responsible if yhu do not get water.

If This Happens, What Can We Do?

First things first, we need to ask ourselves why there is no water in the tap.

Is it that the pumping machine is no longer working?

Is it that the water was not pumped?

Is it that the machine needs repair?

Is it that a pipe i s damage?

All these boils down to what we can do to help the situation of the tap.

If the whole thing needs repair or it requires for something to be bought, how many of us will buy it?

I am very sure that most of us wont. We feel we are not the only ones making use of the infrastructure .

We can also decide to turn our back and go then come back when there is water but i want us to remember the fact that it was not a miracle that there is now water in the tap. So that means somebody has done something about it.

On steemit, all the votes we get in sbd or sp are coming from somewhere. They are from the set of people that went to the tap and did not meet water but did something about it.

Some of them purchased sp with their own money.

What Can We Do If We Dont Have Money To Buy

There are other ways to make the whole thing great.

Have we been trying to maintain good relationships with others? we can also help make steemit clean by posting original contents and reporting plagiarism. We should not always turn our backs when there is no water in the tap. Do something about it. We dont need to be selfish about it.
