A small group of influential accounts kill off @steemsports upvote to play games because it's taking too many rewards then you see this crap. I am so disheartened that the positive sharing place that Steemit used to be is fading into childish bickering and self interest. I Almost pressed the power down button today after reading that post.
i read that post and really wondered about the point of it. Yes, they upvoted some big accounts regularly... they also upvote a lot of smaller accounts, just not regularly. I often take a look at the top accounts that vote on posts, their names show up often. I think a lot of the community is just moving past the bickering and carrying on.
The atmosphere has been pretty toxic as of late. It's a shame. I've said it a lot: people should just focus on their own content. It's a lot more fun that way.
I quite agree @schattenjaeger ... there have been some people who have made some good use of the bad to create humour. It's been interesting
