SNAX Block Producer Update - @snaxtopia
This is the weekly update about my SNAX block producer, snaxtopia.
Happy to report the blockchain is working ok and that we are recruiting new block producers almost every other day. It's still very early days, so I'm still voting equally for all stable producers, until there is enough liquidity in the system to justify some real competition amongst BPs
Adoption-wise, we are at more than 2100 registered users on the SNAX blockchain, with STEEM maintaining its 25% growth rate week by week. A nice milestone is that we passed the 1,000 users milestone on the STEEM blockchain a few hours ago.
Here's the platform users breakdown:
- 1043 on Steemit (847 last week)
- 1147 on Twitter (1045 last week)
My 30 days writing challenge, with more than 90,000 SNAX in prizes is going well, with over 65,000 SNAX already distributed. We recently entered in the last third of it. You can still join it, by the way.
Also, there are a few other interesting actions by other BPs which are on STEEM, you may want to check them out:
- A Call to Get SNAX listed on Steem Engine | SteemPeak by @anarcist69, which basically tries to convince @yabapmatt and @aggroed to list SNAX on the Steem Engine sidechain.
- Travel Digest #534 — Steemit - the Travel Digest started to regularly use SNAX rewards on top of STEEM, this initiative is coordinated by @crowdmind.

I didn’t know you could stake and vote with snax but really should have figured it’s a thing 😆 not terribly surprised to learn either way. I’ll try to remember to see what I can see when I’m on the big rig 🙃
