Searches for "Steemit" in Indonesia

Google Trends does not seem to be that useful in real time. I have been checking stats of various kinds, from various sources about Steemit, pretty much daily for the last few weeks. What I post here is cherry picked, so don't make any conclusions without doing your own research as well. Until now, Google Trends did not acknowledge what would be obvious by browsing Steemit.com, that Steemit is becoming popular in the semi-autonomous zone known as Aceh, in Indonesia. Before now it highlighted East Java and Jakarta as the main regions interested, which clearly does not fit.

Since you're here, this is what the worldwide interest looks like at the moment:

This chart tends to look different every day. Sometimes it looks like interest is spiking and other times like it has collapsed. The final point is particularly unreliable (which is true of the Indonesia chart above too). The only thing that is consistent is the double peak in July and August. Interestingly the growth in search interest (along with the growth in activity if you check http://www.steempunks.com/charts) preceded the growth in price, but it's not clear that it would have been visible in real time if you were monitoring Google Trends.
