FRANCE and Germany are set to launch a joint crackdown on cryptocurrency - as a top global insurance CEO warned regulations on bitcoin are inevitable as snow in the Alps.

France and Germany's finance ministers have agreed to launch a joint crackdown on the cryptocurrency markets as countries begin to push back against the bitcoin boom.
Mark Wilson, the CEO of insurance company Aviva, said that cryptocurrencies face a "blizzard of regulations" in the coming weeks.

Somebody must be freaking out in Paris & Berlin if it's come to rattling the crypto tree and panic just those who can't afford to take losses - the small holders in developing countries desperately trying to get a handhold to pull themselves and their families out of grinding poverty in unstable violent corrupt countries.
We saw the knee jerk Head for The Fire Exits reaction of the crypto markets to South Korea action which left the Winklevoss twins reaching for the Pepto Bismol.
Next week will be a zinger which will leave some regretting they hadn't stuck to trading pork bellies on the Chicago Exchange
