I am still very new to the game, and I thought that in the old days of steemit everyone was making really good money, clearly that was not the case. I haven't really been paying attention to the whiners and moaners I just steem ahead trying to publish some content that people might like.
It used to be like a lottery - these days most posts seem to make a dollar or two, but a year ago I'd do 50 posts that made next to nothing, then have one earn $200.
Steemit has never been a great way to get rich, but it does pay off very gradually if you enjoy blogging
