Steemit: Vision, Mission, Values and Strategy

I have started a series of posts to define the Vision, Mission, Values and Strategy for Steemit and create a Strategic Guide and Dashboard

Strategic Guide and Dashboard for Steemit?

To create a Strategy Guide and Dashboard there are some very important steps to be taken and the first is to define and integrate the Vision, Mission, Values and Strategy for Steemit

1. The Vision – Where we want to be? - The Future

2. The Mission – What we do? - The Present

3. The Values - Why we do it ? - The values that will guide the path to Vision and drives for the Mission - The Light and Energy behind financial and material goals

4. Performance Indicators - What we have done? - The Past - How do you objectively monitor our progress towards The Vision - Errors of the Past and some forecast for the future

5. Strategies and Tactics - How we do it? - The Path - Actions to focus on that we expect will directly impact the goals and objectives measures

Before defining the Vision, first we should reach a consensus about the universe of the Stakeholders of Steemit

The Concept of Stakeholders in Steemit

To start there should be a consensus on the definition of the concept the Stakeholders of the Steemit Community Project

Main Groups of Stakeholders: bloggers and curators, witnesses, miners, investors, programmers, supporters and donners , service providers and alliances

Other Subgroups of Stakeholders - the Users that I should call the citizens : newbies, minnows, dolphins and whales built over Reputation/Steem Power and pro-active actions to generate value in the system

To define the Vision of a community we should start defining the Values that are underlying the Vision

Considerations about the Vision and Values

An example of Values for Steemit we could have

Values: citizenship, solidarity, consensus, liberty, equality, and empowerment

Usually centralized profit oriented organizations have a clear oriented value they usually don't explicit - profit and financial goals

I learned that you can't impose a model to a community, this model had to be constructed and monitored by the stakeholders to be internalized by social discussion and consensus

Every Steem owner have Shares of a Common Value that should be guided by a global action to achieve the goals, with the pillars based in learning and consensus

As any other anarcho-capitalist community DAOs, DACs with internal capital, Steemit is a capitalist decentralized society with classes in struggle.

People's Profile as a class with power tokens, that should be the balance between human created value and retribution, always supported by Positive Actions of Growth and Learning

When there is a low and middle class and a top class. the former will try to ascend to the immediate upper class. So they try to meme the behaviors and goals to drive up in the pyramid.

Then every Steemian have 2 possible behavioral strategies to ascend

a) -Positive - meme the behaviors that leaded the upper class to the Top - construction of a better society - Equilibrium and creators of value - leadership and consensus
The kind of people that try to understand the actions and steps other people take to achieve their goals and try to meme them as path to ascend

b) -Negative - meme behaviors of destruction and annihilation of the immediate upper class to be replaced by them with more will of Power than the ancestors - Chaos
The destructive vision that sometimes society associate to anarchism, came from people that envy other people and take a self destructive path , by trying to destroy what the others have build

Here we can see some confusing connotation by words, the Revolutionary (change the system but with alternatives), the Rebel (against the system to create alternatives) and the Revolted (destroy the system with no alternatives)

The total sum of this actions of the stakeholders will be a flourishing equilibrated society or chaotic one

Jean Paul Sartre said that there was only one kind of philosophy that he definined as "alive" , it was the philosophy of the ascendind classes in struggle in social systems, as well as the resulting arts, literature, movies, etc.

Steemit has a community in "Nascent State" in the Blockchain

Only systems participative, democratic, and distributed nature can create the values of a freedom, wealth, autonomy, efficiency, transparency, empowerment and equality of opportunity

Steemit and www.busy.org are examples of "nascent state" communities in the blockchain with the mark of ubiquity and perpetuity of human generated value

"The nascent state (Statu Nascenti) is defined as a psychological process of destructuration-reorganization where the individual becomes capable of merging with other persons and creating a new collectivity with a very high degree of solidarity."

The Ethereum Classic mission statement is:
