Spammers ready to resteem any blog without reading just to get followed,and upvote !!
I joined steemit this month and have maybe posted 20 blogs !! As a newbee we all want to get noticed in this community,be successful and need I say how hard or disheartening that can be ,everyone of us knows it and me along with many others are going through it . Its already tough that we with so many contents coming in daily many of ours contents get stacked below and lost in abyss that we have to face spammers resteeming and upvoting anything.
It saddens me to see while most of us work hard to provide community with original and quality content some spammers are ready to promote and resteem and upvote any content without reading, while hovering over new posts to read

you need not guess what you can see inside !! he asks other user to follow him and upvote in return he will resteem your three blogs (i dont think he is gonna read) weather good content or bad content ,and literally has the guts to ask in the end how we feel about it !! the very basis of Steemit is be a honest curator and be a original aurthor !! If bloggers such as them start to resteem any three blogs..contents of an original blogger may never surface into the public sight !! While you further scroll down his post you can see another spam comment asking to be followed .
I want to ask my fellow honest and real steemians. to flag such people at the very instance you see them ! If your work is original and you work hard you will get rewarded and noticed eventually !! your every resteem and upvote counts for an honest promise that we all steemians have made to each other !! let them be chosen wisely and only to people who deserve it !!

What constitutes a "Quality Post"? I see this bandied around a lot, it's certainly a concept I aspire to but what is it, or more importantly what is the metric for defining a quality post? All of the posts under the Hot and Trending feeds have reasonably good financial values attached to them so that tells me that said posts are drawing votes and resteems, is that because it's a quality post or because people are hoping that by association the success of that post will rub off on them?
I openly admit I've done a few posts with two or three lines of text, I've mainly done it because I felt the message was of value, did not require any bloat and was more effective being succinct. I've tried writing 500-word essays with little or no reward while watching a rainbow coloured unicorn with steem bellowing out its bum gain upvote after upvote while my beautiful creation floundered in the $0.39 mark. Now maybe my offerings are rubbish, maybe nobody is interested in the stuff I post? but there comes a time when you think "You know what, I'm gonna post an animated gif of a singing potato and get me some instant gratification."
I don't have a huge problem with some of the dross I've seen on Steemit, I'm sure those authors will get bored soon. My biggest gripe is with the almost aggressive commenters demanding that you follow them or telling you that they've upvoted you so you now must upvote them. And lets not even go down the road of what we call on mailing lists "Thread Hijackers" these low life's place their self-serving messages on your post like some sort of cuckoo in the nest.
When I upvote I upvote 100% I upvote things that interest me or, sometimes, things that make me smile. Because I vote 100% I don't vote a lot so hopefully, any recipient of my vote will understand I for one think their work is quality. :-)
well you can totally make a post out of this comment !! you have just posted....!! a while ago,i too decided to go for the meme instead of posting any other art , !!! then i got a big support from @pharesim "kindness being his religion" and curation is passion i got some good upvotes yesterday !! low lifes that you are talking about will always be there waiting to take a leak on any good chances ,day,mood you have !!! but you gotta do what you gotta do !! and be honest to yourself and to your followers ,eventually hard work will pay up !! and these loosers will still be begging for an upvote.......!!
You are right. It is sad that the community quality is going down by these people, looking for some big bucks. :(
it is us people who have to protect this community , from people such as them , and whats funny is not many people want to do anything about it !!
Yes, many just agree upon those others and are not annoyed by what is going on. I don't get why...

Yes that's correct!!People like these will vanish eventually because steemit is all about healthy blogging...and they are doing the opposite!
I totally agree. I came across some accounts that use this platform as instagram. With three lines of text which is obviously written to have written something. No depth or usefullnes, nothing. It's sad and so many people are upvoting bcs they see a woman in a bikini. :)) The problem is that there are to many people encouraging this with their upvotes.
talk about instagram !! i saw a girl who might have uploaded every single photo from over a year ...one photo per post ...with text #photo 01....#photo 02 and so on...and she earns like 5$ per post !! :D :D .......
