Newbie question - Steemit rewards
Hi Steemers! I was just looking through trending posts and I keep coming across payouts that have a line through them? Whats that all about? Can anyone enlighten me? Thankyou in advance
Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!! It's been raining in Newcastle, and the sun is finally out. Although I am just sitting in my room face glued to this website so it doesn't really matter to much to be either way! Haha :)
You have three options for payouts when you are posting. I believe this denotes the third option where you have decided to forgive payment in favor of sending it back into the system.

Spend your time curating and commenting. Engage the community. Be positive and encourage others. The followers will come and the upvote will follow. Steemit is not here for short term rewards. It rewards those who invest serious time and energy.

I have no secrets. You can go through every interaction I have done. I have simply 100% moved the energy I used to put into facebook into steemit.
This makes me wonder what I could have done with that Facebook energy all along. So much wasted time.
I also focus on commenting on New posts. I stay away from the hot and trending sections unless one of the people I follow resteems it.
I am also reposting my steemit blogs to my old Facebook pages. I really need to move some of my fans over here.
