$100 Million STEEM/Steemit rival is launching in 2 days

HigherOrderVC, a Californian investment fund created  PressCoin to provide financing for independent journalists and to fight "fake news".

It supposed to compete with corporate media monopolies and advertising revenue model.

PressCoin is based on blockchain. 

Monetization takes value from participating news web sites and distributes rewards to the content creators.

28-day ICO (Initial Coin Offering) is scheduled on November 22, 2017

Registered in the UK and will operate as a public limited company.

Initial price 1 PressCoin = $1 USD

100,000,000 units are planned to be released to the investors.

Maybe STEEM/Steemit could benefit from PressCoin or even integrate somehow or learn a trick or two.

Maybe they can do the same but i am sure they already know well what STEEM/Steemit offers and studied it in depth before launching a rival.
