Booster is a bot made by @inertia and with some delegated SP from @fyrstikken. Booster works just like the EOS ICO. Every window, which is every 2,4 hours, booster is voting. It shows the all the investments made, but it also shows you how much the ROI (return of investment) is in the current window. By using this tool you can keep track of when it's smart to invest in booster and when it's not. Normally it's a great investment every time, except yesterday when I made a 15 SBD bid, which meant all the users got a negative ROI. I am sorry everyone.
3. Timing
I might not be right about this one. The last couple of posts I have made I was timing them according to when booster votes. I would post them 15 minutes before booster started voting. My theory is that by doing this, I will increase my chances of being on the "hot" page. It has worked so far and has gained me a couple of extra votes than I normally get.

Try to time it, just before he votes. I use steamspeak.com to find out when he votes.

I have used Randowhale a few times and it has done its job - upvoting and giving me a higher perceived return. But keeping in mind that I get only part of it back in SBD after 7 days, it is a bot that kindles hope that the post will start trending.
I was planning on trying Booster but the risk is much higher because of the division among all those who are using it during that time. If a couple of big amounts get invested the smaller contributions will get poor returns.

I'v made so much losses with this bot.. Didn't use this tool, but still. Seeing as how u got a 15.6% upvote which roughly might be around 16SBD and paid 12SBD ur still just about even, if not, have a loss on this post. Minus the curation reward and the overtime loss of value (7-day period) it's worth probably less than the 12SBD u send. Still not as worse as my losses though..
Even if i'm breakeven with this bot I still see it as a win, because of the followers I gain and that I will end up on the "hot" page which will give me more votes, but I see your point.
It ending up in the top of the "hot" page for a while (and depending on the tag, even might do so for the trending page) is a valid point. That is pretty much what I am using voting bots for in the first place. Might give @booster a few more tries with this tool, but nonetheless it's something to be very careful with.. (which I learned the hard way)
Yes, very true. Don't forget that because of the frontrunner, you will earn about 3 $ before booster votes.
Don't think I ever got that much from the frontrunner. My max been 6.5SBD on a post using booster (since they have the frontrunner guild) so maybe it can reach that high if I would double it. If it were to grow though, than it could become very profitable.
