The World's largest video game Museum is in Berlin.
Founded in 1997 The Computer Spiele Museum is the the world's largest museum and was the first institution ever to present a permanent exhibition on the theme of digital entertainment culture. With a stunning collection of more than 25.000 computer games and applications, more than 300 consoles and computer systems and contains around 12,000 technical magazines and an extensive amount of other documents, literature, art installations, plus arcade game machines, archived and objects, merchandising goods and videotapes, is by far one of the biggest collections of entertainment software and hardware in Europe.
Located in Friedrichshain since it closes its doors in 2000 the Museum achieve to reopen its doors in 2011 where it manages to have a permanent exhibition in Karl-Marx-Allee co-founder and member of European Federation of Game Archives Museums and Preservation Projects and member of International Council of Museums and the German Museums Accosiation.
In the last five years, over 470,000 visitors have seen this exhibition, with a ticket cost of € 9 to € 7 and free for children aged 5 and under, for me it sound like a really fun trip which I would love to do , but for now, I have to settle for visiting their website translated into several languages.

I was there last year and it was really awesome. You could basically stay all day and play all sorts of retro games, partly even in little sets that look like rooms from the appropriate time period.
