RE: Do you use Bots to upvote your posts?

in #steemit7 years ago

It's everybody's goal to not need to use them, and after a while on here, you shouldn't need to. Nowadays most of the time when I'm trying to help somebody who just joined, I'll use upvote bots to boost their posts, however, when I'm trying to boost my posts what I do is the Promote feature at the bottom right of the post. If you promote it with 0.50-1.00, then you'll get an upvote from the Promoted account and your post will be able to get found by other steemians in the promoted section. However, if you aren't satisfied with the size of that upvote I highly recommend you check out this site, where they show you which upvote bots are profitable at the current moment in time. Most of the time, they aren't worth it, because it's bid-based and if people already bidded huge amounts ahead of you, you won't profit. But if you can find one that hasn't been bidded on yet, it can be highly profitable. Very controversial thing here on Steemit, but it's hard to blame new people for doing everything they can to succeed on here. It can be hard in the beginning. Hope this helped.
