Suggestions to Steemit Philippines Admin Team

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing fine and safe.
This post would be my suggestion for our very own Steemit Philippines to grow and increase its subscriber numbers, most especially for active number of members. As of this writing, we have 254 subscribers and only 76 are active members.
In all honesty, I only found out that there is an existing Steemit Philippines community through Explore Communities function and browse all the listed communities. What I'm trying to say here is that, though almost all of my steemit friends are Filipinos but never have I learned from their blogs that they're posting to this community. I just came back for a week now and of course I am checking my friends posts for some help. Steemit Philippines is our very own community. I am a proud Filipino and I have that sense that we need this community be exposed more, not only to the big fish but also to the new ones. Correct me if I'm wrong but let's start inspiring the school of small fish to catch the eyes of the whales. I have been a steemian since January 2018 but was just inactive for quite some times for some reasons.
With our promo-steem experts @jassennessaj and @julstamban working efficiently, it is expected that a huge number of curious and/or interested Filipino are signing up to Steemit, and they need some guidance. As much as possible, we need to establish the Steemit Philippines to be their and our own Home too here.
With the experience and learnings I gained from the past, I would like to suggest to create a guide and activities such as:
Pinned Guide
- A topic that newcomers (or everyone that has just joined the community) can talk about on their first blog (What I have in mind is obvious - introduce yourself post)
This could be a series of topic too. One topic per post
Tutorial posts like how to create a quality content, how to power up steem, how to use markdowns (should be pinned to the community blogs)
Tags - proper tagging for this community, and for each topic
Activities
- Frequent Contests/Campaigns: it would encourage everyone to participate and to give steemians topic to discuss with
with proper tagging for each contests
All for the growth of our community!
These are all just suggestions and open for discussions. To the Steemit Philippines team, I am always and more than willing to help.
