Wasp Up?

When I saw this little fella, I wasn't sure if it's a bee, wasp, or hornet. Honestly, I didn't know the difference. All I know is that they all have stinging ability. So, my curiosity lead me to do some research. I found out that this is a wasp, yellowjacket to be specific. I was extra careful with every move when I took this photo because I know that this wasp will attack me once it is disturbed.
