Introduction

Hello,fellow steemit foodies.Today, I'm so excited to share with you my cooking journey as I attempt to make the traditional akwa ibom dish,
EKPANKUWO! This recipe is an integral part of my cultural identity.and I'm excited to guide you through the preparation.

The cooking process
I started the cooking process by peeling and washing the coco yam and water yam.Next,I grind them, after grinding the ingredients,I added Maggi cubes and salt before wrapping the mixture to taste.Then i prepared my cooking pot by applying to
prevent burning.

Preparing ingredients:
I gathered the necessary ingredients, including fish,meat,pere wrinkle,kpomo, crayfish,oil,salt, Maggi seasoning,uyayak,dry fish and my scent leaf.After steaming the ingredients,I carefully placed them in the pot,to avoid the mixture scattering."

Conclusion
"After completing the cooking process,my ekpankuwo was finally ready!i was happy to attempt making this diverse culinary traditions of Akwa ibom and Africa,the flavour were rich,the texture was perfect and everything was impressive.

Final thoughts

Recreating ekpankuwo was an incredible experience that shows the significance of preserving our cultural traditions.i hope this post inspires you to explore the diverse culinary heritage of akwa ibom state and beyond.
