Steem account creation fee has been lowered. Invite your friends now!

in #steeminvite6 years ago (edited)

The majority of witnesses has agreed on a lower creation fee. You will now need only 0.1 Steem and 14.5 SP to delegate for bringing in a friend! Invite now!

hey man,

pardon if this is a bit off topic, it was recommended to contact the witnesses to share a large-scale idea I posted about today to advance Steem’s development:

The $1 Billion Steem Development Fund: How Steemit Inc.'s Stake Could Be Best Allocated To Grow A Thriving Network Of Applications And Users...

would be great if you could have a read, and IF you feel it’d be a great idea that’d serve the community, forward to anyone in particular you know who might be in a position of influence to advance the discussion.

aiming to get the idea out in front of some power-players who might be able to run with it, and figure as one of the top witnesses, you might know of certain people who’d be in such a position. would be awesome if you could pass along, should this be an idea you’d like to support.

cheers,

Rok

I did a steeminvite for someone, they set up the account but never got on steemit. I can't figure out how to get my delegated funds back without them having an activated account. Any help?

There is a tutorial on delegating SP in this post here: https://steemit.com/delegation/@timcliff/tutorial-how-to-delegate-sp-to-another-user-using-the-steemconnect-tool-from-busy-org I've used it before and it works perfectly. In order to "un-delegate" you (should) simply need to set the delegation amount to 0. I've undelegated before and this has worked for me. Good luck! (but really it should work no problem)

I forgot about this comment! Thank you, but it is all good! Bad math day...

No idea, sorry.

It was me... sorry!

Just for knowing.. If someone wants to open multiple accounts by steeminvite, is it illegal?? Seems like it is easy to open multiple accounts by steeminvite...

That's totally fine

Oh try to got this in rapid @pharesim

Me and also those other Steemians, honestly we really need something in one Steam to be able to attract Interested in a wide scheme, if it is all in one media, I think it will be easier. Thanks @pharesim

Exciting times .... may be we need to create a common pool and invite good content creators to increase the value of the network

great news sir! i guess the waiting is over , perfect time to invite more friends here.

It's new proposal to steemains

Great work Michael, this is just going to bring Steemit one step closer to going mainstream. How long does the delegation need to stay in order for the discounted price? Also, one of the biggest issues that I'm finding these days is that there are too many click throughs needed to get access to the right things. There are so many websites that branch off the steem chain, steemit being the biggest one, but I feel like there needs to be more effort to consolidate these sites into one place. The more and more people have to go through different sites and registrations the less likely they are to sign up and stick around

The delegation has to stay at least 30 days. But please check the account balance before removing it, or your friend won't be able to use steem(it) any more

I disagree. Steem is a database that can be used by many platforms. Users can access all of them with their one Steem account, but they don't have to. Some may only use steemit, others prefer a forum like chainbb or another design like busy, and someone maybe only plays steemdice
You're completely free to choose which part of the Steem ecosystem you like, all with one single registration.

The problem that I am seeing is not with which platform one uses to access the steem database, rather the tools or resources necessary, like steemvoter, steemconnect, streemian, steemworld, steemnow etc, the more complicated it is for users, the less likely they are to stick around. When you look at major social media giants like FB, twitter and instagram or even medium, everything is in one place. I know this is difficult as developers are always creating new sites and tools to help on steem but we really need something all in one place to attract the largest audience possible

That place will not be steemit.com according to the plans steemit inc. announced so far.
It's not necessary to use any of those services you listed though...

That's fine, it doesn't have to be steemit, it just has to be one place. yes you must have a steemconnect account to use this steem invite application

You do not need a seperate account at steemconnect. It's used to log you into your steem account, and it's just for security so you don't have to give your key out to every platform you use.

I think we're having a bit of a misunderstanding here. Whenever someone has to leave a site or click through to something else and re-login somewhere else before performing the desired action, it cuts down on the nuber of people who will actually follow through. Its the same with vendors and marketers, the more sites that pop up and the more clicks users have to perform, the less likely they are to finish

The devs of Steem try to push Steemit as a blogging platform first.

Hence the block-chain analysis tools aren't the biggest priority.

A login is a login, no matter if you're redirected to another place to perform it or if it's on site. Facebook/G+/GitHub logins don't exist because they aren't used.
It's up to the app creator which ways to log in they provide, but users should basically always prefer steemconnect for security reasons. Be sceptical if someone wants your keys.

Nice,, thankbfor you information sir .
Very nice your comen my inspirasi
