I do not know any other voice which flatters the heart of man like a woman's voice.
I do not know any other odor which flatters the heart of a man like the odor of a woman.
I do not know any other taste which flatters the heart of man like the taste of a woman.
I do not know any other touch that flatters a man's heart like the touch of a woman.
He was not speaking poetically when he said this, nor was he seeking to convey by exaggeration an impression of the strength of woman's allurement. He, was telling the plain, unvarnished truth as he saw it, and he saw it clearly.
For he went on to describe in details the various sexual stimuli which man's feels through the eye and ear, and through smell, touch and taste, of all of which play their part in stimulating desire.
The sex impulse is aroused by various stimuli which effect our senses. Events outside of ourselves such as the approach of a thunderstorm is often sufficient to arouse desire long before thunder is heard or lighting is seen.

Man's instincts of which sex us one, are held in check only by restraint imposed, in the main, from without. The veneer is thin, and easily broken through. When men and women removed from the familiar setting of home and family they find it more difficult to maintain the strict observance of the code which has, in the majority of cases, been accepted without question while conditions remained normal.
