Phost is blogging software. However you could also consider it a 'framework' as it's been designed from the ground up to be as extensible as possible, giving you the freedom to do what you want without the headaches. source

As a blog, Phost is made with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. Phost is an open source. This means you can also contribute to its development.

As bloggers, there is nothing bad in trying new software. If blogging is what you do and do best, then consider downloading Phost.
