Samaritan, an application designed to better understand the homeless who live around you, with the aim of helping them. Via this tool, a person who walks in the street can receive a notification informing him of the identity of a homeless person close to him. She can then know her name, history and needs, if the latter agrees to provide her personal data.
But how can an SDF find himself in the application, especially if he does not really have a smartphone? It turns out that Samaritan works with associations like the Salvation Army that equips people in need of iBeacon tags. These tags are then linked to the application and allow passersby to donate instantly with a transfer. If the homeless person has a phone, he receives a notification informing him that he has received a donation.
