Transport Systems Catapult is UK's innovation center for intelligent mobility, created in the UK to find new and smarter ways for transport more efficiently. It's Lidar is used on the Pathfinder to map out the vehicle's immediate surroundings in high resolution, and radar is also integrated to keep track of people, animals and other objects, even when they’re out of sight.
