Zephyr is an unmanned air vehicle powered with energy from its solar-electric panel.

This aircraft has several objectives and applications in the military field, but its main function is to contribute to disaster management, such as monitoring forest fires and oil spills. It will also provide better communication in areas that are distant from the rest of the world.

Zephyr has the ability to stay focused on a specific area and report on earth observation over a long period of time. It can operate at an altitude of approximately 70,000 feet and flies over any weather condition.

The people in charge of the project have already carried out several tests on the equipment and they have been successful, very soon it will be operative to carry out the functions for which it was created.
