The grass paper contains 50% dried fresh fiber, a breakthrough that will save energy and water consumption to produce the product. According to the VPF record, it takes less than one liter of water for every ton of grass fiber pulp.

This is certainly a breakthrough and will hopefully save millions of trees. Not only the trees but the reduction in water usage in making the paper as well. The planet needs to go green as soon as possible and all of these initiatives are heading in the right direction. One day hopefully we will have a more eco friendly environment. A good hunt.
Conventional wood cellulose for making label consumes a lot of energy and the water consumption is as high as 6000 litres. But with this new VPF eco-friendly adhesive label the water consumption is reduced to just one litre. Most importantly it is renewable and the grass fibre is 50%, so the energy consumption can be reduced significantly and that is the need of the hour and it is time to have an approach so as to make everything in our life eco-friendly.

This is really cool. These days it is so important to be using materials that have as little environmental impact as possible. I can see a lot of use cases for something like this. What a great share!
