Swipesense hand hygiene is a package of products aiming to create better hygiene techniques from healthcare workers. The smart sensors analyse the data of hand hygiene ,and offers solutions and ways for staff to improve their hand hygiene.
The package is easy enough to use - each staff member wears a small badge, and the hygiene stations are also fitted with sensors. These can sense handwashing activity, and generate data for analysis.
What I love about this is that it is simple, effective, and will make a huge difference in terms of patient safety, and could save many lives

While its targetted for hospital, i wonder whether it has application for home use. It will just be annoying to wear a badge at home, but may be it can be evolved for home use, by linking it to one's phone. Personal hygiene dedicated tool like this should sell like hot cakes. And yeah great purpose even in its current state.
