This oximeter works on your toes as well as fingers (handy if you are checking a baby as it is easier to fit their big toe in the device).
This device is similar to that used by health professionals and paramedics around the world to monitor Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD) including Emphysemia, Asthma and Bronchitis.
It can also be used to check whether you are suffering from Covid 19 (if oxygen levels in your extremeties are low it means your lungs are under attack).
