There are experts thought about how inconvenient fueling your car on your own could be especially on cold and rainy days when you don't want to leave warm and comfortable interior of your vehicle.
The fuelmatics automatic refueling system solves this problem. The system makes it possible to fuel the car effortlessly all you have to do is to drive up to the gas pump.
The robot finds the fueling cap using a build in camera and then opens it up using a suction cup then it attaches the hose & fuels the car without spilling a drop.
The user can control a fueling using a mobile phone users can pay using the card or through mobile app. The developers claim that this process allows users to fuel their car 30% faster.

I can see the advantages of this as it is easier and quicker. I just don't see the point of this as electric cars are about to roll out everywhere in the coming years. From 2030 fuel car sales are being stopped in Europe and replaced by electric.
In my country most garages employ petrol attendants to put fuel in your car so this wouldn't be very popular. I can't see this being introduced like it would have if it came out 10 or 15 years ago. I think this technology is too late and won't take off.

Wow! What an awesome concept! This was an ingenious idea, now refueling can be easier and safer! I grew up in the north where it is freezing cold and this would have been perfect for those winter days that get well below Zero. I can't wait to start seeing these at gas stations. AWESOME HUNT!
