@steemgigs Is Adding A New Feature To Help Connect #steemgigs To Steemians Who Need Them. We Will Also Promote Some Steemit Contests!

There is becoming the need to add more features to @steemgigs. The number of #steemgigs are growing seemlessly and this is a joy to watch, thus, it is time to work hard, to keep these #steemgigs alive and the steemians offering them encouraged. 

This will take a bit of hard work but it will be fun all the way! We are looking at reaching 5,000 #steemgigs for a start and this looks like perhaps an impossible feat but it is very possible. 

As this is all community-driven, the solution is to make #steemgigs and #steemgig as popular and fun as #til once was! 

(NB: The reason for using #steemgigs or #steemgig is incase of a mis-spelling. We have the luxury of checking both tags, so that we don't miss out on any Steem Gig.)

@steemgig thus, is adding new role to its functions. Apart from re-steeming, upvoting and submitting #steemgigs to appropriate channels on discord, steemit.chat and twitter, we will be scouring steemit to look for ways, to link steemians who are looking for services to steemians who provide these services. These relationships or connections will be built in the comments, thus, stirring more engagement, new connections and community. 

This has started happening already and our precious steemit community is really helping! Earlier today, @stephen uploaded a Steem Gig and steemians rushed to the comments to direct him to a logo contest; by @richardcrill

Ransack the comments and notice how fast the streets of steemit can be traversed. Notice how @papa-pepper came to help @richardcrill by connecting him with @stephen.king989; who is good with graphics.

An ultimate aim of #steemgigs is to explore steemit in new ways, thus, we will be going around steemit, looking for steemians who may need help with something or in need of a service and we will leave a valid comment, mentioning respective steemians who have related #steemgigs or who may offer such service. This will require knowledge of each #steemgig available and the steemians behind them. It will also require knowledge of our steemit community in general.

Overall, this is something that requires help from the community and is a culture, that we hope to instill into our steemit community in the long run.

We now also adding the feature to support some steemit contests by re-steeming and upvoting them. It is shown in @richardcrill's post, that some contests are actually a call to get help and not simply a contest! Thus, we will be supporting these contests and mentioning steemians in the comments, who offer related #steemgigs or steemians who can potentially help. This also applies to "cry for answers" seen in many steemit posts!

@steemgigs is also a facet of #steemitisbeautiful; a cause to make steemit an ever more beautiful home! The vision is massive and aims at touching lives in reality! 

Steem has given us a reputable community of great minds; let's explore it, unravel it and exhaust it! 

Steemians needs some benefits, exclusive to them. "Why go to fiverr.com to toil for a service, when we have brothers and sisters here".

"Everyone has something to offer!"

To conclude; being that this is all community-driven, incase, you find a comments or entire steemit posts, asking questions or incase, you know of a steemian needing a service, leave us a url, username or comment and we will exhaust our steemit community, to find a steemian who can help or at least give you some directions to make things better.
