Good day, Steemians!

These are kinda a big deal in Lisbon!

SteemFest² fast approaches - are you ready??

Remember to get your tickets, submit art for the art space, arrange transportation, and book accommodations. For those of you who don't yet have yer ducks in a row, here are some really helpful money saving tips in one of the most informative & enjoyable posts I've read on Steemit lately!

To help prepare us all, I've compiled some valuable phrases to learn in Portuguese!

Feel free to correct any errors you see, friends:

English Phrase Portuguese Translation
Good day. Dia bom.
Good evening. Boa noite.
Ned's hair looks great! O cabelo de Ned parece ótimo!
Where is the Snapcube? Onde está Snapcube?
It's creamy & delicious! É cremoso e delicioso!
Do you have Jesus in your heart? Você tem Jesus no seu coração?
Just kidding - I'm a heathen! Apenas brincando - eu sou um pagão!
For real though, Christ consciousness is a vibration that anyone can access, and maybe we should try tuning in instead of continuing to rape and pillage the planet...
Unfortunately, humanity is a broken shell of its former self and individuals are disconnected from source and disempowered from their true nature.
Is there any hope for a sustainable future? Existe alguma esperança para um futuro sustentável?
What if it starts with the children? E se começar com as crianças?
Maybe if we don't break them in the first place, we won't have to waste time  & energy healing severely fucked up adults.
Or, like, you know...whatever.  Ou, como, você sabe ... tanto faz.
Would you rather talk about some shallow shit? Prefere falar sobre alguma merda rasa?

@awesomianist has a cool idea to learn some Portuguese too!

Hope to see you in Lisbon!

💛 Sara!

Sort:

Haha Do You have Jesus in your Heart. Just kidding I'm a heathen. I just spat my tea out reading that. Then it just got more real.
Have fun at steemfest2

hahahhahaha ya that was a good one!

Spat your tea out, eh?? That is a great compliment that I graciously accept, sir!
Thank you, @stephen-somers!

Love this post!

Your humor is quite tasteful!

SteemOn to SteemFest!

Thanks, Quinn!
It's creamy & delicious - É cremoso e delicioso! 😂 💛

hahahhahaa yes!

É cremoso e delicioso!

That's Brazilian Portuguese...

Good to know...what's the difference?
I use Google translate.

Oh the not so reliable google translate.
Brazilians use a set of words not common in Portuguese, the sentences are different sometimes, the way they treat people is different, the accent is very different...
But it's português we get it lol

Google translate is often good for a laugh!

Thanks very much! These will come in handy :)

See ya in Lisbon!

Yeah great, @jeffjagoe! Here's to some high vibe conversations, interactions, & inspiration!

Good job boss.. An audio wont be a bad idea so that when one reads he could prononuce also. Just my thought

To my understanding there is not a way to embed audio in a Steemit post.

I miss the 'can I have a glass of port, or 10 maybe! '

Now your talking!

Life is about prioritizing right @quinneaker and @saramiller? Business and pleasure can be combined perfectly :)

Sure, if we're going to get into it we might as well get drunk too! =

Can I have a glass of port, or 10 maybe!

Yeah! Now you guys can get started!
My Spanish isnt too bad, but Portuguese seems like Chinese to me

Really? Portuguese makes a little sense to me because of my not-too-bad Spanish...in writing, anyway. Pronunciation is a lot different.

Yeah exactly that. To me it sounds like spanish mixed with Russian sounds :)

"Can I have a glass of door?" Lol

What is the correct way to say it?

Porto wine is often served in a small glass, chalice. Usually one doesn't drink a lot because it's like an appetizer. But it depends on the (ab)user" lol
porta = door
"Can I have a chalice of porto wine?"
"Podia servir-me um cálice de vinho do porto?"

ahh good choice

Thank you for your correction, @serggioc!

:) excelente escolha.
Encontramo-nos no steemfest?

good food and useful for the human body

@saramiller Well done for sticking at it! Followed.
