প্রতিটা বাবা মায়ের স্বপ্ন তার ছেলে ডাক্তার হবেই নয় তার ছেলে ইঞ্জিনিয়ার হবে নতুবা কোন ব্যাংকের বড় একজন অফিসার হবে এগুলো যদি না-ই হতে পারে তাহলে কি লাভ তার কে পড়াশোনা করি এ জীবন ব্যর্থ।
বাবা মায়ের আদেশ:

দেখা যায় একটি ছেলে দেশের ইতিহাস জানতে চাই জানতে চাই একজন নাগরিকের কর্তব্য গুলো জানতে চাই পৃথিবীর গঠন তার এগুলোতে অনেক আগ্রহ কিন্তু না তার আগ্রহের ষোলআনা পূরণ হবার সম্ভবনাও যে নাই কারণ তার উপর জোর করে চাপিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে তার আগ্রহের বিষয়টি।
ডাক্তার হওয়াটা কি খুব প্রয়োজনীয়:
ডাক্তার দেশের অন্যতম একজন সম্মানিত লোক দেশের মানুষ তার দিকে চেয়ে থাকে একটি সাহায্যের আশায় কিন্তু কয়জন লোকই ডাক্তার হবার প্রতিভা নিয়ে জন্মায় কয়জন আর তাদের মতো মেধা নিয়ে জন্মায় বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষায় সবচেয়ে বড় যে সমস্যাটা হল কোন কিছুর মূল্য দিতে না পারা সব অভিভাবক মনে করেন তার ছেলেকে যদি মানবিক শাখায় পড়ানো হয় তাহলে তার দ্বারা কিছুই হবে না মানবিক শাখা মানেই হলো দুনিয়ার নিকৃষ্ট একটি শাখা।
বাংলাদেশের একটি বড় চাকরি:
বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে বড় চাকরি হলো বিয়ের দিয়ে ক্যাডার হওয়া এই চাকরি পাওয়ার জন্য লাখ লাখ যুবক দিনের পর দিন রাতের পর রাত খেয়ে না খেয়ে পড়ে যাচ্ছে কিন্তু দেখা যায় এই চাকরিতে তারাটিকে তাদের অধিকাংশই মানবিক থেকে পাস করা ছাত্র অভিভাবকদের আপনি আপনার ধ্যান ধারনা বদলে ফেলুন দেখবেন সব কিছুই বদলে যাবে আপনার সন্তানের আগ্রহ যে বিষয়টিতে তাকে সেটি পড়তে দিন দেখবেন আপনার সন্তান কোন না কোন ভাবে সফল হবেই জোর করে কিছু চাপিয়ে দিবেন না এতে বিপরীত হতে পারে।

বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা ও পদ্ধতি নিয়ে আমার সুচিন্তিত কিছু কথা যা আমার মনে হয়েছে তার কিছু কথা লিখতে শুরু করলাম আমি প্রথমে সকলের নিকট এই লেখার জন্য ক্ষমা চেয়ে নিচ্ছি কামনা কাউকে ছোট বা হেয় প্রতিপন্ন করা আমার উদ্দেশ্য নয় কেননা ব্যস্ত ও সত্য কথা সবার কাছে একটু অপ্রিয় হয়ে থাকে আর এর জন্য অন্যের কাছে ভাল থাকার জন্য অপ্রিয় সত্য কথা কেউ বলতে বা লিখতে চান না যদি আমার এই লেখায় কেউ কষ্ট পান তার জন্য আমি দুঃখিত আমরা বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক যার কম বেশি বুঝি ন যে একমাত্র শিক্ষাই জাতির মেরুদন্ড কিন্তু আমরা কি কখনও এই বিষয়টি নিয়ে মনোযোগ সহকারে ভেবেছি আমরা আজ আমাদের দেশে যে শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত হচ্ছে তার দ্বারা কি জাতির মেরুদন্ড প্রকৃতপক্ষে শক্ত বা মজবুত হচ্ছে কি এই বিষয়ে আমার যা মনে হয় সে সম্পর্কে কিছু কথা না লিখলেই নয় হয়তো আমার এই লেখা কেউ পড়বে না পড়বে না তবুও দেশ ও জাতির স্বার্থে এই লেখাটি আমার খুবই প্রয়োজন বলে মনে করছি তাই আমার এই লেখা প্রথমেই আমি একটু বলছি উচ্চ শিক্ষার বিষয় নিয়ে।
উচ্চ শিক্ষার বিষয়:
বর্তমানে আমাদের দেশের সর্বোচ্চ ডিগ্রী ডিগ্রী হল ডক্টরেট বা পিএইচডি এই সর্বোচ্চ শিক্ষা শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত হয়ে একজন মানুষ শিক্ষার্থী যে কিনা দেশের সর্বোচ্চ পদে আসীন হয়ে একটি দপ্তর বা মন্ত্রণালয়ের দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন কিন্তু তিনি এ মহান পেশা থেকে কতটুকু নিজেকে দেশ ও জাতির সেবায় নিয়োজিত করেছেন এই নিয়ে আমার মনে প্রশ্ন তৈরি হয় যে এই ধরনের একজন উচ্চপদস্থ ব্যক্তি কিভাবে দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত হতে পারে তার মধ্যে এত অভাব কিসের তাহলে আমাদের মত শিক্ষকরা তাকে কি শিক্ষা দিল আসলে তিনি কি প্রকৃত শিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত হতে পেরেছেন এটা আমার ও আপনার বিবেকের প্রশ্ন আপনারা হয়তো বলতে পারেন সবাই একরকম নয় আমি বলি তবে এর শতকরা হার কত কেউ কেউ হয়তো আমাকে পাগল ভাবতে পারে তাতে আমার কিছু যায় আসে না যারা আপনারা সহজ-সরল বা নিজের খুটির জোর একটু কম তারা যদি নিম্নরূপ অফিসগুলোতে কখনো দিয়ে থাকেন তাহলে হয়তো বুঝতে পারবেন যেমন আমাদের শিক্ষা বিভাগের মহা অধিদপ্তর পুলিশ বিভাগ আইন বিভাগ পানি-বিদ্যুৎ গ্যাস passport immigration মোটরযান অধিকাংশ বিভাগে টাকার বিনিময়ে আপনি পাবেন না যেখানে ন্যায় অন্যায় অবিচার পাওয়া বড়ই ব্যাপার এখানে যারা দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন নিশ্চয়ই বিদেশীরা নয় এরা আমাদের দেশের সন্তান এবং আমাদের দেশের শিক্ষার্থী তাহলে তাদেরকে আমরা কি শিক্ষা দিয়েছে এর মধ্যে একটি কথা না বললেই নয় বর্তমান বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনা দেশের কল্যাণ ও অগ্রগতির জন্য অনেক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করেছে তার মধ্যে আমার মনে হয় ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ গড়ার কার্যক্রম সবথেকে বেশি যুগোপযোগী যার ফলে অনেকটা দুর্নীতি অপরাধ প্রবণতা কমেছে কিন্তু যদি মন থেকে পরিবর্তন না হয় তবে দেশের উন্নত সম্ভব হবে না আর এজন্য মনে হয় শিক্ষাব্যবস্থাকে একটু উন্নত করা দরকার এবার আমি আরেকটি মহান পেশার কথা দেখবেন সেখানে স্বভাবতই দেশের সকল শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান সেরা সেরা শিক্ষার্থীরাই এই বিষয়ে শিক্ষা নিয়ে এই পেশায় আত্মনিয়োগ করে থাকেন তারা হলেন আমাদের দেশের চিকিৎসক সমাজ।
চিকিৎসক:
আমার দেশের মেডিকেল কলেজগুলোতে কি শিক্ষা দেওয়া হয় যে আমাদের ডাক্তারগন হাসপাতাল অপেক্ষা প্রাইভেট চেম্বারে রোগী দেখতে বেশি পছন্দ করে তার ওপর ভুল চিকিৎসা তো আছেই আপনাদের হয়তো মনে হবে আমি ধান বারান্দাতে শিবের গীত এর অবতরণ করছে কিন্তু আপনারা অনেকেই কমবেশি এমন অবস্থায় শিকার হয়েছে থাকবেন আমাদের অভিজ্ঞ ডাক্তার রোগীর গায়ে স্পর্শ করতে দ্বিধাবোধ করেন না বিশেষ করে সরকারি হাসপাতালে অধিকাংশ সিং এর তৃতীয় ও চতুর্থ শ্রেণীর লোক দিয়ে করানো হয়ে থাকে যাদের এই বিষয়ে কোন একাডেমিক জ্ঞান নাই এমনকি আমাদের দেশের অধিকাংশ ডাক্তার বেশিরভাগই ক্ষেত্রে অষ্টম শ্রেণী পাস করে থাকেন একই থাকে কিন্তু আমাদের দেশের অধিকাংশ রোগী পাশের দেশ ভারতে গিয়ে ডাক্তার ফলে আমাদের দেশের কোটি কোটি টাকা অন্য দেশের লোকেরা করেছে তাহলে আমাদের দেশের শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থা কি পরিবর্তন সাধিত হয়েছে তা আমরা বোধগম্য নয় এবার আমি অবতরণ করছি আমাদের দেশের আরেকটি পর্যায়ে শ্রেষ্ঠ শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে কিছু করার কাজে নিয়োজিত হয়ে থাকেন তাহলে আমাদের প্রকৌশলী ভাই ও বোনেরা যাদের হাতের ছোঁয়ায় আমার এই দৃষ্টি তৈরি হতে পারে একটি সমৃদ্ধ আধুনিক উন্নত রাষ্ট্রে কিন্তু এখন সুস্থ শিক্ষার অভাব মনে হয় বিদ্যমান যার কারণে দেশের জনগণের ঘাম ঝরানো অর্থের দ্বারা যে সকল প্রজেক্ট বাস্তবায়ন হয় তা কিছু রাজনৈতিক নেতারা অধিকাংশ শিক্ষিত নয় তাদের যেন হারিয়ে যায় এরফলে বাস্তবায়ন নিম্নমানের উপাদানে তৈরি সকল অবকাঠামো কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই নষ্ট হয়ে কাজ করে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার কাজে আরো পিছিয়ে যেতে বাধ্য হয় এর মূল্য আমরা মনে হয়েছে প্রকৃত শিক্ষার অভাব রয়েছে তাই দেশের প্রকৌশলী মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীরা আজ দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত।
