Esther 2: 5-7 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
5 There was a Jewish man in his royal residence, whose name was Mordecai, son of Jair, son of Shimei, son of Kish, of Benjamin's lineage;
6 who had been transported from Jerusalem with the captives who were taken with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had transported.
7 And he had brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, the daughter of his uncle, because she was an orphan; and the young lady was of beautiful figure and of good appearance. When his father and mother died, Mordecai adopted her as his daughter.

Mordecai was a pious Jew who lived in Persia under the reign of King Ahasuerus. Queen Esther was her kinswoman and her foster daughter (Esther 2: 5-7, 15). He was a righteous man and had God's favor over him. He had delivered the king from death by discovering two eunuchs who planned to kill him. King Ahasuerus was looking for a way to thank Mordecai for saving him from death (Esther 6: 2). But also in the court of the king there was an evil man named Haman who was first among all the princes of the kingdom and who was an enemy of the Jews, seeking the death of all that nation and especially of Mordecai because he hated it. (Esther 3: 5 "And Haman saw that Mordecai neither knelt down nor humbled himself before him, and was filled with wrath, but he had only a hand in Mordecai only, for they had already declared Mordecai's people; Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were in the kingdom of Ahasuerus, to the people of Mordecai. ")

While sitting at the palace gates, Mordecai discovers a conspiracy against the king and denounces it, making it known to Queen Esther. This was not done on the basis of personal convenience, not with the idea of looking good with the powerful or not losing privileges for being of the royal family. He had not even introduced himself as a relative of the queen, nor had she moved any influence to improve Mordecai's life. He did not expect to receive anything and received nothing. This is what makes a person valuable: to act on principles not based on convenience. Many bow to the powerful and twist their character according to how the situation is presented always looking for the most favorable to their people. Their loyalty varies from one pole to another, they change according to what suits them as a political party, friendship and servility, they are with who can give them more no matter how fair or unfair it may be.

Clearly Mordecai acted on the basis of his principles of justice and fidelity and not for his convenience, in that when Haman won the favor of the monarch who decreed by royal command that everyone bow to this character, he never prostrated or bent his knee before he.

When a person lives on a principled basis he gains dignity, he is valuable by himself, not by what he possesses, nor by the people with whom he has a relationship. Have not you heard many who boast about the characters they know or with whom they rub elbows? But when one is valuable for the jewels of personal character everything changes. Your presence, your action, your life become the difference in the changing circumstances of life, you will help many, the lives of others will depend on what you are or what you do. Your life will not be fruitless but those lives that make history.

The denunciation of the conspiracy seemed somewhat circumstantial. Mordecai's refusal to bow down before Haman seemed inconvenient not only to him but to the entire Jewish people. Haman sought a disproportionate revenge for the courage he had with only one man. But Mordecai was never afraid to act in correspondence to his ideals, to the character formed in God and grounded in fidelity. Be faithful to God because he is a faithful God.

The story of Mordecai leads us to a great principle of life: faith in a living God. Trust in God, his promises are faithful, he does not forget them and he will never leave the one who is faithful to him. Pay faithfully fidelity. Trust in God is not a static confidence. It is not to sit idly by and wait for God to act, but to do everything in our power and wait for God's blessing and if nothing can be done, keep our trust. Mordecai was sure there would be salvation for the Jews, God would send it somehow, but something was in the hands of Esther and she had to do it.

We must do all that is in our hands, all that is within reach for God's plan to be fulfilled, so that the promise becomes real. Do not wait statically for blessings to fall, seek blessings, make blessings with your divine support for your life and for the lives of many others that depend on you. But do not stop looking at God, the author and finisher of faith, he has produced faith as a source of victory and he is the one who crowns it with victorious realities.

Mordecai could have been content to place his cousin in the palace as queen, would not have asked him to hide his village and his kin, but quite the opposite so that he himself had access to the privileges of being a direct relative of the queen. If he had done so, he would not have been more of a courtier and we would not know his name or his history today. He chose not to be great but valuable. He did not choose fame but dignity, I do not look for position but for character. And God gave him even what he did not seek.

One day his deeds spoke of him, not his words or the arrogance with which he had presented himself, his deeds honored him and it was they who finally changed the destiny of his nation, that is the scope of the facts based on justice and all the virtues. The hand of God, the faithfulness of God is evident in the way in which the events occurred in such a way that the gallows that Haman had prepared for Mordecai was for himself.

Fear paralyzes us. It leaves us empty-handed, adds us to the mediocre, what is left over, what is not noticed, what does not contribute. Esther, despite all her fear, dares and gives her life for her people, by giving her life she wins at a much higher level. So are the brave, they go from victory to victory, always waiting on God but giving themselves up to the cause or dream they pursue.

I ARRIVE THE MOMENT OF HONRA

This story shows that, in addition to the fact that honor comes at the right time, the best of God rests with those who place themselves in His presence, more than that, who obey Him above anything else.
Mordecai did what was right and what was within his power to avoid the death of the king. Besides that, he did not disclose what he did, he did not seek with his own strength for his own honor. We can say that he did what God told him to do. That is why he was able to enjoy the rewards. May we be like Mordecai: do what God wants us to do, and not according to our desire. Only then will we be properly honored.

When God created mankind he designed our structure for success. We have all the tools to be successful men and women. Achieving it is possible if we develop the right attitude: an attitude of success, of faith, of hope. We must cooperate with Him in that process. And do not give room for discouragement. Only when we persevere, do we become blessed and prosperous.

This is highly inspirational.

We need a right attitude in our walking with God and in our journey in life.
We need the right attitude in dealing with the word of God. God has given us the manual of life which is the word of God, we need the word to rule our world.

The gift in a man will take him to palace but it is the attitude that will sustain him to remain in the palace

God bless your life more. Thank you for remembering to maintain a good attitude in life and that nothing has to twist our principles whatever our situation, even when we have to be with people who have the power or authority.

God bless your life more. Thank you for remembering to maintain a good attitude in life and that nothing has to twist our principles whatever our situation, even when we have to be with people who have the power or authority.

When we honor God by applying his principles in our life, we invest in a life favored by the grace of God. Mordecai, seen as a brave man, leaves for us a great example of dignity, loyalty and courage. Many times because it is the boss, who has authority, we do not have the gallantry to demand his sin. But we see here in this story how God honors those who honor him. Excellent reflection @xiore. Blessings
